How Much Weight Can You Lose on the 3 Day Military Diet?

Looking this question up online you will find many resources claiming you should lose 10lbs. per week on the 3 day military diet. This may be true for some people. Not all. Every person is different, and some will shed pounds easy and some will not. We receive messages from people who have used the military diet and many have seen a 10 pound weight loss in just a week. I personally have used this diet many times. Each time that I used it, I saw similar but different results. My average weight loss each time is 5 pounds for the three days. I have done this diet for just the three days to lose some quick weight. I also have done it for a month, 3 days on 4 days off, and lost 22 pounds. I do believe the Military Diet works if done right and it should work for most healthy adults.

So, how much weight can you lose with the military diet? You could lose 30 pounds in a month or 10 pounds a week. However, I’d feel more comfortable saying if you lost 5 pounds in the first three days, then you’re on track and doing well. If you’d like to keep going, you can choose to do the 3 days on and 4 days off for more cycles and see if you can lose more weight. If you lose 20 pounds in a month, I’d say that is some great success.
